Panasonic KX-DT546X (KX-DT546) is the highest model of the KX-DT500 Series telephone. This digital proprietary telephone with 6-line backlit LCD display offers full duplex speakerphone, the best balance of large display, 24 programmable button keys, and lighted display. The back-lit lighted display is great for dark office environments or homes, and makes reading the display easy for the eyes. 

All KX-DT500 Series phones have a full duplex speakerphone which ensures that the conversation will flow both ways without clipping and one of the best enhancements from the older KX-DT300 Series. This KX-DT546X also features 24 convenient programmable line buttons, a built in electronic hook switch, wideband compliant, auto redial and navigator key.

Addtionally, the KX-DT546X model will connect to a DSS add-on module for additional 48 flexible buttons (KX-DT590-B). Only two models in the KXDT500 Series wil support the add-on modules (KX-DT543-B and KX-DT546-B). Unfortunately none of the KX-DT500 Series telephone support bluetooth headsets. However, it has a new EHS port (Electronic Hookswitch) and works well with Plantronics cordless headsets without the lifter (CS540 or CS530).
