Elco vision 8 Channel NVR with PoE with 8 integrated PoE ports ideal for use with up to 2K cameras, i.e. 4MP IP cameras. The internal PoE ports on the NVR provide several benefits compared to using an external PoE switch. You can isolate the security cameras to an internal network within the NVR protected from your LAN, being on the internal within the NVR reduces latency in video, and most importantly makes is very simple to connect an IP camera. PoE inputs allow easy connection of PoE security cameras to this recorder using a single CAT5e or CAT6 network cable to transmit video, power, and data to and from the camera. Specially for users not familiar with IP security and networking, PoE ports simplify the installation process by making it truly plug-n-play to setup a IP camera to a NVR recorder. 

This Elco vision 8 Channel NVR with PoE has a maximum recording bit rate of 200 Mbps. It is powered by a powerful dual-core processor and a embedded Linux operating system that stays virus free, and it does not need a network or computer for operation.
