The Dahua VTH5221EW-H IP Indoor Monitor is an IP video intercom 7 inch touchscreen indoor monitor with a handset and a black housing. The monitor can be used in a Dahua or X-Securiry SIP intercom system. The Dahua VTH5221EW-H IP Indoor Monitor can be powered with PoE.

With the Dahua VTH5221EW-H IP Indoor Monitor an audio and video conversation can be held with a person standing at an outdoor station or between monitors. The Dahua VTH5221EW-H IP Indoor Monitor can be used as a wired monitor in a SIP Dahua or X-Security IP intercom system. In an intercom system multiple monitors and outdoor stations can be used. A Dahua or X-Security intercom outdoor station with SIP firmware is required. Only a few outside stations are supplied with SIP firmware as standard. The monitor has an SD card slot to record video messages and snapshots on a microSD card. It is possible to unlock a maximum of two doors on the monitor. The images of Dahua or ONVIF IP cameras can also be viewed on the monitor for a limited time. The monitor can also be used as a small-scale alarm system.

The high resolution 1024x600 pixel touch screen monitor has a capacitive (hard glass) screen as is used on modern smartphones. There is currently no firmware available with the Dutch language. The language is in English.

Mounting

The monitor is surface mounted and has to be connected to a (PoE) switch or router with a network cable. The monitor can be powered with a network cable using a PoE switch or PoE injector. The monitor can also be powered with a not included 12VDC adapter. Suitable 12VDC adapters can be found under the tab "Options". A bracket for the indoor monitor is included.
